Airfreight

1. Gallery to
Airport
With this option, the
client's painting will be delivered to their nearest airport. The client will be
promptly informed of the necessary pick-up dates, as well as collection
numbers. The clients are informed of export consignment flight details prior
to painting arriving at airport. You are allowed 2 - 3 days free to
arrange Import Custom Clearance. Airport handling fees are applicable at
the destination airport. This applies only to Gallery to Airport. We
would like to encourage our clients to use this option, since it is more
time and cost effective.
2. Gallery to
Door
This option will enable
the client to have the painting delivered to your doorstep. This service will
be more expensive than the first option, and might take longer.
3. Gallery to
Hotel
This service offers you the service delivery of artwork to the hotel or guest
house in which you are accommodated in the Cape Town area. This service is free.
Additional
Service information
The price of the
airfreight is calculated on top of the purchasing price, and must be
paid on the same day. The client must then advise us on all contact and
physical address details. Details provided by the client will be kept
strictly confidential.
Packaging and crating
of artwork is done by specialised packers, who regularly deal with high
value cargo. The insurance and crating of the artwork is included in the
airfreight price of both options. The packers of the paintings, supply
treated timber & issue fumigation certificates to comply with the
International ISPM15 standard regulations. The airfreight packaging will
be fumigated at all times, especially for destinations like Australia
and North America. The fumigation is also included in the final
airfreight price. In addition, a 110% insurance guarantee is placed on
the crate with the painting. The client will be kept updated
throughout the whole transportation process. Your painting will take
approximately 3 - 5 working days to arrive, depending on destination and
the fumigation process.

Prices
The airfreight price is
calculated according to the volumetric weight of each painting. The
value of the painting is also taken into consideration. We seize the
most cost effective opportunities at all times. The destinations,
packaging as well as the airfreight option contribute to the final
price. Do keep in mind that some destinations are more expensive than
others. The airfreight company that we use, specialises in artwork and
provide efficient cargo services to every major continent in the world.
